A Webinar is one of the best ways to bring information to a large group of people. It is usually conducted by organizations and is broadcast to a select group of individuals via the Internet. An event like a Webinar allows the speaker who is in one place to disseminate information to people all over the world.
One of the biggest advantages of a webinar is that although the speaker and the audience are not in the same place, it is possible for them to interact. Most often, it is possible for the audience to ask the speaker questions in real time with the help of either messengers and with the presence of an audio visual component, even conferencing tools.
There are essentially two kinds of webinars, live feeds and on demand feeds. With a live feed, everyone participating in it, there is a requirement for them to be ready and good to go and there can be no real ‘rewind and start over again’. There is almost always a short delay for everyone to get ready, which is not required for an on demand webinar. The difference with an on demand webinar is that the delay time does not exist and it can be paused to accommodate discussion if required.
For successful Webinars, it is important that you have an agenda, which is declared right at the beginning and stuck to throughout. It is also important that you have someone or some machine making note of what is happening during the webinar.
A webinar is a great way to bridge the distance and get everyone together. They allow for opportunity to attend a discussion that might prove to be difficult to do so otherwise.
