The deadline when launching any new site is the day it goes live on the web. But just llike anywhere else, it is the weeks before the D-day that is more stressful than the actual day of the launch itself. There are simply too many things that need looking after to not forget anything at all. This is why we have compiled a list of 5 things you MUST do before you launch your website:
5-Look and Feel: You need to guess before you launch it, people’s reactions to the site. Make sure you are happy with what the site looks like and like the way you navigate on it. The smoother and clearer the navigation system, the more you’d want to stay on it, the more your prospective customers want to stay on it.
4-Security: As it turns out, Security is a bigger threat than you could have ever imagined. So what do you do about it? You check every detail possible to make sure that there are no loopholes in your own site’s security.
3-Design: The most important aspect here is to check if your site is “pro-CRO”, i.e. is it effective when it comes to conversion? Because is that not the main goal of your website anyway?
2-Keywords: At the risk of repeating myself for the 1000th time, make sure you haven’t put so many keywords in your content that they outnumber the rest of the words, that just makes the writing un-readable
1-Multimedia– Make sure that the multimedia on your site is up to date and connected to your content and what your site is about. Content that does not connect to the images, images that don’t connect with the multimedia and content-don’t make for a very good page.
Make sure these five points head your checklist. Or, boy, you are in for a re-launch!
