Targeted traffic: Targeted traffic, internet marketing parlance refers to the actual number of people who can get “converted” from visitors to actual customers. ‘Traffic’ is the number of people who come to visit your site, but traffic is useless if no purchase is being made, be it a service paid for or an object bought.
The organization system in most directories allows you to submit your site under a specific category, this just makes it easier for the people to connect to you based on what category you submit the link to. And even of you do make a mistake and put it in the wrong category, the human behind the directory will put it in the right category.
One way links: ‘One way links’, also known as Non-Reciprocal Links. These are links that are only inbound and often carry more weight than reciprocal links. Most Search bots and Search Engines consider one way links more natural and therefore give it more value added to this, they appear less self serving. This extra value that search bots give them allows for these pages to get better page ranks and Link popularity.
The thing with Web Directories is that since they do not expect any out bound links even while including your links, the number of inbound links increases making it more valuable for the Search Engine/Bot.
