The 3 Cs of ‘Contact us’ Pages

A ‘Contact us’ page is possibly one of the easiest pages to make when you are making a website. It is essentially a page that allows for the people who have questions about your company to contact you about them. Any questions, comments and feedback related to your company start at this page. Not having a ‘Contact us’ page leaves visitors under the impression that there is something dodgy about the site.

There is not much variation to a good contact us page. They all essentially have the same factors: a contact address, a few numbers and perhaps a form that’ll help them contact the company. But given below are a few tips that will make an uninteresting page into something more concrete and impressive:

Clarity: Make sure that the information that you give away on this page is accurate and clear, without any scope for confusion. For example, if you have two telephone numbers and the both have the same first 6 digits, don’t write ——28/29. Write the complete number both times: ——28 and ——29.

Creativity: You can make your page more interesting than the usual “name, email id, comment” format against a coloured background. Modifications made by playing with colours and textures, is always an option. Though, this does not mean that every little space should be coloured and textured. Balance out properly, the field and white space. Don’t cram just because you can cram.

Communication: Use this page for effectively communicating with your visitors. It is important that what you are saying to your visitors and customers is communicated properly and it is easy for them to communicate with you. So don’t have a long confusing process.
